Transformer Blasting & Painting

Omega are preferred specialists in handling rectification works for various energy companies. These particular works involved scaffolding, abrasive blasting and repainting a transformer at station in South West Sydney.

The works involved a three hour induction for every painter, scaffolder and abrasive blaster onsite. As the works were in a high risk environment, a full time safety officer was employed to ensure all personnel were following WHS requirements at all times.

Dulux were the specified brand for this project. Products included Dulux Zinc Rich Primer WP, Dulux Durepon P14 Primer and Dulux Luxathane RT. A Dulux representative prepared a COA report approving the application met specification.

4 Ford St, Huntingwood

Omega is on the preferred panel of painting contractors for all Goodman Properties in NSW. The commercial painting and line marking works carried out at 4 Ford St, Huntingwood was successfully completed within 3 weeks.

Six Omega commercial painters were involved in the pressure cleaning, exterior painting, interior warehouse repainting, concrete sealing of 1,600 sqm of floor space and line marking works.

Certain areas were extremely difficult access and unsafe. The managing foreman worked with neighbouring properties seeking permission to use EWP on their respective properties getting the job completed safely and effectively.


DNC Shoes

Dexus Property selected Omega Industries to repair and undertake make-good painting works for their new tenant DNC Shoes

Four commercial painters were onsite for two weeks to complete general plaster repairs, pressure cleaning, external spraying and internal office painting. The orange feature wall was matched at our Omega Industries manufacturing plant within a 99.5% match to the supplied sample.

External colorbond sheeting was sprayed with an appropriate primer and top coated with an exterior grade paint to ensure a quality and long lasting finish.

The Roost

Omega Industries were selected to repaint external areas of a commercial building located in Alexandria, NSW through a reputable commercial fit-out firm.

Five Omega Industries commercial painters were onsite to paint bare galvanised steel beams and handrails. The scope also required floor coatings to specific corporate green that was matched to 99.5% from the standard supplied.

Since works were carried out during normal hours, staff had to work dynamically and safely to ensure minimum disruption to general surroundings.

Wetherill Park Tafe

As part of a five year painting arrangement with NSW TAFE, Omega Industries are the preferred commercial painting supplier to multiple TAFE sites in NSW.

The showcased project highlights various areas of the Wetherill Park TAFE painting refurbishment. Six Omega commercial painters were onsite during the holiday period to undertake difficult reach access painting, render repairs and colour matching colours to ensure corporate brand consistency.

24 York St, Sydney CBD

Omega Industries is on the panel of preferred commercial painting contractors for CBRE. In 2015, the iconic 24 York St in Sydney CBD needed a freshen up with repairs and repainting of the exterior timber windows.

In order to avoid the heavy traffic flow on the foot path and the operating restaurant, Omega Industries tactfully planned work schedules around the restaurants opening hours and using our abseiling crew to complete the works.

Works required our three abseil painters and one spotter to complete window repairs, sanding and repainting of seven storeys. CBRE were delighted the works were completed within budget and ahead of the projected timeline.


One of Omega’s commercial construction partners contracted a night shift painting crew to complete the new fitout works at Mcdonald’s. The works were a major success and met quality, cost and time standards.

Omega Industries were able to match the Mcdonald’s yellow with our in-house spectrophotometer to a 99.5% match. That we ensure the colours we produce are consistent and represent our client’s image in multiple locations as a uniform front.
