Apprentice Painters

The backbone of our service is providing quality tradesman to high-end clients. We are looking to educate and train future painters of Australia under Omega Industries’ reputable management team.

The role requires:

  • Basic understanding of painting skills and tools
  • A close attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of paints and other building materials
  • Presentable to high-end clients
  • Clear written and communication skills
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Able to lift 25Kg

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Be enrolled in a TAFE/Trade Qualification program
  • Have a driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible with your hours of work

Site Foreman

Omega Industries are looking for experienced Paint Project Supervisors and Site Foreman to assist in our exponential growth. We are looking for a dynamic and responsive person who can take lead and control small to large teams of tradesmen to accomplish project goals.

The Role:

  • Oversee project operations & paint orders.
  • Scheduling & allocation of work for crew.
  • Stock control for tools & materials.
  • Monitor work standards and stick to agree timeframes.
  • Monitor OH&S by employees.
  • Responsible for all orders and contact for employees.
  • General administration as required.

Personal attributes required are:

  • Hold a valid trade qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Hold a current drivers’ license.
  • White card.
  • Current police clearance.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment.
  • PC and tablet proficient.

Painter

The backbone of our service is providing quality tradesman to high-end clients. We are looking for licensed or experienced painters to join our team and grow with us.

The role requires:

  • Excellent painting workmanship using a brush, roller and spray guns
  • A close attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of paints and other building materials
  • Presentable to high-end clients

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a trade qualification or relevant experience for brush hands
  • Have a driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible with your hours of work
  • Hold a valid White Card and EWP Licence
